Our take
This Dualbell converter in blue/red does exactly the same job as its blue counterpart—it connects two dumbbells into a barbell. The Nylon 66 material feels durable, and the collars lock plates in place without slipping. I appreciate the portability thanks to the carry bag. However, it's essentially the same product with a different color accent; if you're choosing between the two, just pick the one that matches your gym aesthetic. The weight is negligible (2.5 lbs), so this is purely an adapter. For someone with multiple dumbbell brands, the compatibility is a plus, but again, it's limited to 1-inch bars. The price is identical, so no advantage there. If you need to combine dumbbells for heavier lifts, this works, but it's a niche tool.
